You heard it right after getting her good and sideways through a turn I drove another half mile in forth, then rounded the corner to come home and boom no power it died! Now she won't hardly restart and the ear compression test heard a missing compression stroke.
Oh well time to build the engine I've always wanted, soon anyway

It just picked an awful time to go; I'm trying to get my shop up and running, to get my business going. I don't have the time or money to deal with it.
maybe just a gsl-se engine for now then rebuild it the way i want in a few months.

I say port the **** out of it and feed it the juice.Yum nitrous.Sorry to hear about that shay.At least the EFI is all hooked up right now all you have to do is swap the intakes over to another motor as a part time solution.

On that occasion i only revved it to about 7000, but i then drove in 4th gear at 40 mph, for another half mile, when I turned onto my road; and was just putting it into 2nd after the corner it lost all it's power and died!
But usaually when I'm out auto crossing and racing I shift at 7500 sometimes it overrevs to 8000.

No, all motor ported all that it can be but remain streetable, but for now hopefully just drop in a gsl-se motor or another s4 motor to get me through the next few months while the shop I'm opening up takes off.
