You could also try driving around with your hood latch open, it'll make your hood stick up an inch, but it'll let a heap of hot air out. (just remember to close it before you leave your car parked somewhere)

If you need parts for a nice price try http://www.thepartsbin.com - they have really nice prices there. They have radiators for $150 and a lot of other knick knacks that may be helpful (belts, gaskets, etc.)
