I noticed the shifter rod is hollow. What did you guys use to seal the end off with?Would JB weld work or does it need to be a really strong bond to it?Do I fill the shifter housing with fluid before I install my tranny aswell too?Sorry about all the questions.First time doing the full out swap.

the hollow tube is there to seal up the shifter box. you can silicon seal the end. there should be a shift rod going in there thats not hollow

I sectioned out the tube, (aka took out a chunk of the center ) This way it still had the stoock rubber seals on the end. Or you can just use some kind of silicone to seal it off.

So why is there 2 different fill plugs and 2 different drains on the T2 box? Do I need to fill them both or what?
