That would reduce the load on the wiring to the ignition switch.

I found the problem. my fist attempt at the ignition I accadently touched the aluminum plate to the bolt that attaches the power wire to the fuseable links. OOOPS then when I replaced the fuse it wasn't in properly not making complete contact a litle twist and push and all fixed.
