Thumbs up

Ok I've got the new ignition done but there is one problem. I found out that I don't have power to the fuel pump and the ignition and whatever else. I checked the fuseable links on the fenderwell. There are three on a 1980. I see that there are fuseable links on the starter do any of theese go to the ignition and the fuel pump?

PS. I checked the fuse box there is a fuse that say's engine on it. It was blown. Ireplaced it but still no power.

Hope that helps. Look for any bare wires in your new wiring (on the + side of your coils).

Another thought, the load of the new ignitor and coil (added to the originals) may be too

much for that circuit (it drives the solenoids as well as the fuel pump and coils).

You may want to put a relay in line to supply the coils.
