Has anyone tried a loop style muffler on a rotary yet?Need to get my truck down and I am looking in to these.I have 2 stainless packed resonators and a stainless packed muffler but I might change the muffler with this.......

I need the noise down to tolerable levels now that I live near the cop shop. They are starting to eye me when I leave for work at 5:30a.m. Any feedback is appreciated.

Thanks.

that is weird! All that seems to do to me is oversize the muffler to look "cool". Rather than running the gasses internally to get them back to the back of the muffler, they run it exernally - th eeasiest way is just to add a presilencer or two or three..or the stock exhaust :P

i think i'd rather have a coupe straight thru mufflers inline? there should be enough room for that, ja?

Just thought this design might keep the noise down without that much of a power loss seeing as it has to make a loop before it enters the muffled section. No?

That looks like it adds about 2' of exhaust length, and it looks like it takes up a large amount of space (or will hang down low).

edit: just realized I was posting in 1st gen section. I have no idea how much space those things have.

go to the honda tuners sites to ask about that thing... i had one on a civic hatch and it was f*cking loud... thing is it was loud when you were standing on the gas, or first and second gear... once you got up to a cruising speed it was fine... personally i would look into something different, or you might use this a justification to turbo your ride... turbos chop up the noise!!!
