hehe, did you just say something about gas mileage in a rotary forum??

Did you get a compresson check done on that sucker?

All I could see was a couple pic's of the engine and what looked like a wiring harness (my computer went on overload with the big pic's I think). Did you get a T2 trans also or just the engine?

Haven't got it here yet.The guy just pulled it out of a 88 T2 and it has good compression. Its a complete swap.He pulled the wiring out of the wreck from the dashboard to the front of the engine and sending it with the COMPLETE DRIVELINE.He has the coils and ecu and all harness' are intact.Tranny and everything is in good working order.I just need to make a plate to mount the T2 tranny when I get the car to mount it in.I have a complete set of SE swap parts waiting for the engine to show up.I just need the SE crossmember which I can get here from a wrecker.

Thanks for the input you guys.Drifter:I was going to but this is a killer deal.Might as well jump on it.I just need the car now. Then I need to figure out what to use for a driveshaft. If your looking at this thread ViperRx7 could you tell me what you did for your wiring and driveshaft?I have a good idea on wiring but the driveshaft looks like a custom deal. The 20B is three times the amount and theres non for sale right now.Oh well. This is the S4 setup in case your wondering.

Yeah, I wanted a 20B too, but looks like I'll prolly be going the s4 13BT with a supra 5spd. I'll be watching all your Q's to get ideas for mine. :bigthumg:

I already have a huge FMIC and everything needed minus the 3" exhaust.I still need to do a driveshaft too.Plus a car wouldn't hurt. :smirk: I'll be reading setzep's thread agian on the S4 T2 tranny mount he had to fab.I know how to use the stock shifter location. It'll be fun in a light wieght.

Well, if you end up getting a fair bit of a story together, you could post all the info (incl setzep's stuff) into a big thread and get mike to make it a sticky. That would be mint. :bigthumg:

I might do one tommorow in the FAQ's section.I got the spacer measurements to make the S4 T2 tranny fit the FB chassis with me tho.Heres a little info for you for now.

Tranny spacer

Here is the spacer. It's 3.6"long,1.75"wide, .75"thick and the two holes are drilled 2.75 apart. I made it out of aluminum figuring the crossmember has two rubber "dougnuts" so that should take out some of the vibrations. (didn't want that "hear every shift/driveshaft kind of car")Remember to use 3/4-1" flat washers for support on the tranny bolts.I know how to wire it abit but I need a car first to tackle everything piece by piece.
