it's just an electronic solenoid actuated hydraulic valve, nothing specific to the car really.

it's a valve you put on your front brake hydraulics so you can press your brake pedal then power the solenoid so it closes the valve, lockign the pressure @ the front brakes. then you let off the brakes and your front wheels are locked, allowing you to do a burnout without having your foot on the brakes / brakes applied to the rear wheels.

Is it hard to hook up? Dont you need to tap into a brake line,etc?

they are easy to hook up, most of the time the kit ya get has all the parts ya need to hook it inline. I had one on a old Nova I had years back, fun stuff but look out for the cops and make friends at the tire shops....
