Line Lock
#11
Since our front brakes have 2 seperate lines, one coming off of the master and the other coming off of the proportioning valve, what else is needed besides the uniersal kit, or do I need 2 solenoids?
I would like to put one on, but I want both front brakes to lock. Suggestions please.

You only need 1 solenoid . You really did not look properly huh :tisk: your brake booster has 2 lines coming off it . One to your front brakes the other to your rear . They might than go to an ABS unit ... but you can cut in before than ....

Sorry, but you need to go back and look. There are 2 lines coming out of the side of the master that go to the proportioing valve. There is a 3rd line that comes out of the bottom that goes directly to the left front brake. That is why I asked about using 2 solenoids.
To be more specific here, the brake 'booster' has one 'line' and that is a vacuume hose. The brake master cylinder has 3.

Just to clarify things and make sure we're on the same page, this was posted in the 1st gen section. The write up is for a 3rd gen and I don't know how similiar the 2 systems are (never played with a 3rd gen). 1st gens definately don't have ABS.
