well buddy....the floats...float......what now?...my dad mentioned something about the ignition, about the points not making contact.....but keep in mind, the car ran fine day 1 ....day 2 this started. could it be the "points" if so would that solve the too much fuel problem, which i believe is THE problem.

how about the fuel filter? try blowing thru the return line maybe its clogged?

about 10 minutes away from putting the carb back on the car, everything is hooked up, ill try checking the return lines, its a possibility i will consider, now that ive repaired everything, and taken it off again, its either fuel lines or ignition, as far as i can tell. get back to you.

....return lines fine, fuel is clean...new fuel filter. so far, too much money has been invested. im asking mazda mechanic ffriday. god help me.

What carb are you dealing with? I f it is the baby four barrel Discount auto parts sell cheap holley carbs that fit nice. Haaynes manual helps alot in dealing with carbs.

yeah i got the books, and its already been rebuilt. its the stock Nikki carb. and i dont know what is ******* wrong with it. carbs been rebuilt, wtf?

so far everything has been a dead end....has anyone experianced or heard of these problems?
