hey guys. i don't know if i've ever posted here before, but i've been on the forum for a little bit.

I'm on my 42nd car. This is my 3rd rx7. i had a 1981 GS. a 1987 GXL, and now this 1982 GSL.

it has 260K on the chassis, but 50K on the motor/tranny.

I just bought it off of my best friend today. Its in GREAT running shape, but i dented one fender drifting a few months ago, and he dented the other (i don't remember how, but both times it was like 2 mph... lol) the dents are on the BOTTOM of the fender by the air dam. Its cool when you buy a car from someone you know/trust, and its a car you've worked on many times before, and you've already driven it very hard and know it will take the abuse.

Does anyone have pictures of the STOCK mirrors mounted on the fenders? i thought they would look pretty good but i'm not sure if i wanna make the change...

i really like the seats. Instead of seat covers, we're (my girlfriend and i) are going to convert the rest of the interior to black and brown. I don't like the red/maroon interior.

The way i got the car was, my buddy wanted a 4x4, and i had JUST sold my car. So, he told me if i buy him a 4x4 that he'd give me the rx7. So we went out and found a s10 blazer, we both checked it out, and i bought it for him. I'd been trying to get this RX7 from him for a while now LOL.
