Why is it that when anyone does an engine swap in an FB they do turbo II motor before FD motor? The main guess I have is the price.

never done either, but from what i know the turbo II is a better fit, i guess it bolts up similarly (or the same?) to the 13b in the gsl-se... thats my 2 cents

Yea much less effort mounting the t2 13b and tranny then the rew.

Not to mention the fact that it's a helluva lot cheaper to get a TII/Cosmo motor than an FD motor.
