i turned my gsl-se on today after about a month....mayb a little less ne way i had it running for about half an hour and i noticed it was going from 1000-1300 on idle like ---^---^ somethin like that....is that normal or somethin just curious

Yeah, that's like saying you prefere the processed meats that have been artificially lightened (reduced fat), because you don't like dark meat. It's a play on words.
