I found out today that it won't fit in the bay by the rad so it looks like its time to chop out a section of my front kit.Anyone have any pics of the Volvo FMIC install on thier first gens?

Thanks

I don't think I've seen one. Most of the ones that I've seen(including mine) use the Starion IC. How big is this thing? There's alot of room in front of the rad.

I was wondering just how efficient the volvo fmic's are? I see them on ebay all the time and even the "big" ones sell for cheap. I was also wondering how efficient the Starion was? I have read many opinions that say it is not big enough to be very effective and vice versa. I always figured that since it was mounted in the front it would work better than the tmic, but maybe I am totally wrong. I picked one up a while back but I don't know if I'm going to use it. I might just break the bank an buy the greddy one.

The core i just measure it by itself is 18.5" long,17.25" high and 2.25 deep.Thats without end tanks on it.I guess I'll have to take out the front valance panel and try to fit it there.I know the lower lip on my Erebuni bumper is going to have to be cut now. Why me?

Plus I think it need to cut the front of the chassis to run the piping to it.I better not have to or else I see about selling it or try another way to get it to fit. ARG!

That sounds like some overkill. If its gonna be that much hassle, sell it and go the starion IC.

I gotta be different.I'll take the panel off tommorow and see what I'm working with. Then I can make my decision on weather or not to cut the bumper and ****.

This is how I mounted mine. I didn't care about the lower valence since I have a Mariah Mode One that's going on later. It's the large NPR.
