I know its not part of the main harness. Is it on one of the two harness' that sits by the steering box?I don't have both those harness' and figure it must be part of the missing ones.Am I right?

Thanks

Luis

The alt plug should be T shaped with only two quick disconnects inside it. It will be the same style of alt that is pictured in my Midget on my GLC thread. Just curious if you got that type of alt, or a newer or older type.

Its the same style as the one on my 83 but i can't seem to find a connector for it.I think it might be part of the two harness' I'm missing.

Sounds like it, have you checked your wiring diagrams?

Where is Mike when you need him?

It's funny because I just did this like 3 weeks ago but can't remember a damn thing about it. lol

Well I know the low side has a white/black wire. If I remember the high side has a thicker blk/white wire if that helps out at all.

I know the colors. One is supposed to be white the black and white then a black and yellow.I just can't find the connector for it and I'm wondering if its a part of the two harness' I'm still missing for my engine bay.

I don't really see what's the need for the T shaped plug. I use the main wire to the top of the alternator with no problems. My factory voltmeter still works, plus I use a digital voltmeter. Average is around 13.6, depending on things turned on(fans, lights, etc).
