how much is the person wanting for the car is the real thing to ask. how many miles on chassis. if it is over 100k on it, it probably ain't worth more than 400 bucks.

depending on what you do, consider 1000-3000.

yeah it sorta depends on what you replace.

if you pull it apart and everything is really nice, ive done em for as little as $300.

but if you're replacing everything, then plan to spend more than $5000

somewhere in the middle, all new seals, rotor housings, maybe $3000ish

If you're doing it yourself and you aren't concerned about having a high-dollar rebuild you can do it for under $100. You'll need a set of oil control seals, some dowel pin o-rings, a few other odds and ends, and some hylomar (permatex, puckey, etc).

I just finished building my first rotary out of junked parts for under $50, but it hasn't been fired up yet and I don't know if the standard o-rings I used (in place of metrics) are gonna hold up.
