Cool

I was digging thruogh the "Bargain Bin" at Racing Beat and found this description:

" Bargain 2-13

RX-7 Holley Carburetor - 1976-85 12A (Part No. 16634)

This bar was returned by a customer after claiming it "didn't work right". After the carb was returned, it was thoroughly inspected and reassembled by Mr. Jim Mederer, Racing Beat's chief engineer and carb specialist. It was determined that there was nothing wrong in the first place with the carb, but with the customer's car. This unit is "like-new" , but since it isn't, we will knock a few bucks off. Reg $533, will sell for $475.00. "

It reminded me of you!

Hey Smogfighter;

I was going threw some of the old Post trying to find post that I read before and came upon this one that I had not seen???

You probably right because before I had sent my Holley back to them, I had made a scratch on it to see if they where sending me back the orginal or not.

And sure enough the one that I gots back had no scratch.

Even at $475 it would have been to much.

Sure wish I would have gone with a Weber!!!!

Thanks

steve
