i know the whole mazdatrix front engine plate , gsl se oil pan,12a front cover info to swap in a 13b re engine into a first gen rx7.

i can get a gsl se sub frame would this make mounting it easier or is this the same as the 12a sub frame?

can sonme one help me clear this up im a little bit confused

 

the 13B is 20mm longer than a 12A (10mm per rotor)



when mazda decided to put the 13B in the FB chassis, they moved the engine mounts 20mm forward on the subframe. the actual rubber engine mounts, front engine brace/cross member, and front cover* are the same as a 12A*



when racing beat decided to put a 13B in the FB chassis, they decided it was easiest to make the front engine mount plate thing 20mm deeper.



before racing beat, you used to slot the trans crossmember, front mount plate, and engine mount holes
