I'm redoing the rubber lines at the tank and that stupid junker is right there.I pulled it off and I see no real point to put it on.Couldn't I just leave it off seeing as this will be my weekend car anyways?

My car hasn't had it for about a year now........

 

I wouldn't think it would be that important for standard road driving. Just don't do a concorde on us.

 

the only shield I have on it the one that is inbetween the gas tank and the muffler

 

Yeah I was think of getting rid of the shield that is just infront of the rear end as well.

Yup.I plan on leaving the shield for the muffer and take the other ones out.
