on the later ones theres a round hole near the metering pump, on a 12at its drilled and tappped for the drain, on the na's its not

On the SE cover the hole area is just below the OMP.I tapped mine and use a 1/2" NPT fitting there.

cool, yeah I found the indentation last night.

I'll have to make a trip to the local hose place and check it all out.

I knew something would come of that post!



Hey, does anyone use a oil sump baffle? I've been looking for the sump and they seem to offer baffles as well, wondering if they are useful/worthwhile??



Mazdatrix has the sump for US$71.50. Which will prolly come to about aus $120 after shipping and stuff, I suppose. Is that about right, or is there some cheaper?

On the aluminum cover just below the OMP.I can't see it on that pic.
