yeah what are you running for oil cooling? that radiator/fan setup should be ok if the oil temps are sane

Yes I do have an oil cooler.Im just running the stock on. It's mounted on the inside of my radiator, you can see it in the picture. The coolant is my problem. It seems when im out running hard for any time longer then 10-15 min the water temp starts to clime. But soon as I stop and let it idle for a few it cools back down. Yes im in so cal. (lake elsinore) You?

have you done the waterpump housing mod, or you running a thermostat?

also here's a thought, my 1st gen was getting hot as you described but it was mainly because the 2 e-fans, 2-msd 6al's, and running lights were draining more power than the alternator and optima battery could produce, so the fans were on but not fast enough especially at higher revs where the msd's drain the most amps..........may not be what's going on in your case but worth the shot checking before suspecting a more expensive remedy.

You may need to run a dual belt sytstem if you currently are not. You need two belts to run the waterpump or else it may slip.

I think it's just an airflow issue. This is assuming your WP is being driven fully and everything is up to snuff.

Thumbs up on a cool rig btw.

I found out my belts are loose so first I will fix that. My water pump is brand new. But I want to build a better shrould with one big fan. I was told one big fan is better then two. Also would like to put a bigger oil cooler with its on fan in my back window. But you all know you will never be finished.Turbo, etc!!!!
