Hey guys, been doing a little work on my 13bt, took off the clutch assembly, etc, I think its been sitting a while cos its all rusty.

What I wanna know is, whats the whole deal with the counterweight and stuff??

If I get a lightened flywheel, do I have to change the counter-weight? What is it countering exactly??

TIA

If you replace the flywheel with a Lightwieght S4 T2 one you will still be good to roll. You change counterwieghts when you change flywheels and clutches to another series of car.
