When swapping that type of **** around you will pay a pretty penny that custom adapter can fix.Theres lots of people the run the SE pattern with the bigger brakes and just use 5 lug adapters on them.You can't really tell if a car has adapters or a conversion without jacking it up anyways.

i have seen pics of guys using 4 lug fc front hubs, redrilled 5 lug rotors and 4 piston calipers

I've seen SA's running the T2 rear diff and brakes.I don't think its that easy to swap them tho.
