I just bought a first gen (85) yesterday. It is officailly my real project car. I bought it for 300 and it only has 90000 some thousands miles on it but the carburater needs work so it doesn't run. The only thing else wrong is that he said he hit a tire rack putting it on a trailer so the front is kind of messed up. It needs but here a few pictures. Sorry, i took them in the garage so it is kind of bad angles and stuff.

Not too bad, especially for the price.

Check this place for your replacement parts:

I've dealt with them and they are pretty squared away.

Cool

WoW! awsome price. ask yourself this, do you think its worth fixing it? judging on the photos I'd say it seems to be more of a parts car rather then a fixer upper (no offense) it just seems like it needs alot from the photos, but if you have the time and the money than you got a good start car especially if its gonna be strickly track. if you persue the restoration please update us with photos, theres nuttin like a good restoration thats documented well. i wish you well on your rx7 build

Well im stripping everything right now and getting rid of a lot anyway. I think i want it to be mainly track but will try to put enough just to pass for street. I know i can get exhaust and still pass with people in town that i kind of know. But no ac, speakers, etc. I plan on rebuilding the engine with a street port and then supercharging it. This is the plan for now at least we will see as the project continues. I will try to keep you guys updated.

Killer price for a series 3.Even parting a beater rx for the price you paid you would make your money back on it.Good luck on the project.

Its all superficial damage, I'd hook it up right. Plus the chassis has 90k give or take? Not many people one here can say that about their FB's. Good find!
