I might have to try a steel one for awhile with some sort of rubber on either side of the mount.Either way my engine is in the car now.now the wiring mess begins.

I used the stock tranny mount, with the holes slotted. No spacer either. Fit perfectly.

It might be an "SE" thing, but I think that's what your project car is.

I'm still trying to figure out how you used the stock trans mount or are you talking about the stock crossmember? You can just set the trans on the crosmember and it may look right but you really need a 3/4" spacer to move the trans up to stock location.

Where did you crack the water pump housing at anyways? When I had to drill/tap the coolant sensor hole to 3/8"NPT I think a cracked the housing a little but all I could see was a tiny hairline crack so I'm hoping the 565 loctite will fill the crack

I cracked it taking it off the block to get the front cover off.It was sealed to the block damn good.Oh well I have a SE pump on it and plan on redirecting the BAC coolant line to the turbo instead and do the throttle body mod at the same time.

The stock manual SE crossmember works with the T2 tranny?I need to know by the weekend. My car didn't have a tranny crossmember on it when I bought it from the wreckers so I have to get one anyways.

Thanks

Luis
