My parts car is from germany. Guy I bought it from bought it there while in USAF. He was saying that it has a longer 5th gear because it is the european transmission. Can anyone deny/prove this? Also if anyone wants the gauge cluster out of it, I have it in the for sale section. Has Celsius for temp and KG/cm2 for oil pressure. Not sure how rare this is. Any ideas for a price???

Also I forgot to say that yes, I could have figured out the difference by saying what speed was at what rpms, but the speedo doesnt work. Cable is broken (doh).

I checked out mine by jacking up the car, chalking a tire, and manually turning the engine and counting revs. Kind of a pain but I wanted to verify my gear ratios (all 5). I figured I might have had a B2600 trans or something - turned out to be a TII like it was supposed to be.
