hey i was really thinking of doing an engine swap but i dont know if i want to anymore. im starting to think of doing some body mods and making it look sharp over the power. but for the 12a engine i wanted to know how much more power i would get if i street ported it, and dropped on the holley carb, along with fixing my exhaust leak. would this be a noticeable increase in power....or would i still see the same get up and go. thanks for any opinions......

also if u can tell me anything that would make me feel the difference plz post it b/c i want to get some of this started so that i can get in the car shows here around town...thanks again

You would DEFINITELY feel a power increase with a good street port and Holley setup (don't forget you'd probably have to upgrade fuel pump etc for this). If you haven't already, an aftermarket cold air intake and RB header will give you a noticeable bump for relatively cheap. You can also get the Gary Yim reworked stock carb that I've heard gives a good increase as well.
