what exactly is a double bridge port? i found a 85 GSL (12a) for sale. but it says double bridge port with street port. whats that???[u]

maybe its a secondary bridge port?

its possible that he could be refering to a full bridge. For instance a half-bridge is just the fornt and rear intermedeate housings. The full bridge is almost the same as a half but they also add the bridge to the front and rear of the center iron. What is the price and other modifacations. The bridge port sound is unmistakeable. brap-brap-brap, or dat-dat-dat. A half bridge idles at 1500ish. a full bridge I believe idels at 2000 or a smidge higher. Hopefully that helps!!!!!

yeah, i've come to the conclusion that all this talk i've been hearing of "double"-bridges comes down people not realizing that half-bridges came after the original bridgeys, which all housings were bridgeported.
