i completely pulled the entire harness. looked way worse with it in there. the only wires that are in the car, are ones i put there. the bare minimun to get it started.

should be a light car. no porting on a stock 83-85 motor. never opened. i wonder what she'll run!

1980 completely gutted

83-85 motor (never opened, no idea how many miles)

4 puck unsprung clutch

83-85 LSD rear

im hoping to drive it today! all i need to do is strap down the fuel cell. and th battery too. its not pictured. but right now its in the passenger side close to the firewall. for shorter wiring. i think im going to keep it in that general area. the look of barely any wires makes me hapy. im going to have a toggle switch to run the driving lights. and another for the headlights and motors. plus the brake light. i'll probly make an aluminum dash. something real simple and light.

not bad at all! depending on the weight, i'd say high 14's are doable, somewhere in the 15's is prolly more realistic though.

not sure how well slicks and a stock 12a are gonna work.

i like the no wire thing too, i'm gonna try and hide mine too, or at least unclutter it, looks so much cleaner....

i'd also cut the floor and mount the fuel cell lower, but hey, car's not done

Becare full slicks on stock rears dont always mesh well. keep the air pressure in those tires up a little on the high side. I say 15.65. remember stock motor.

there not slicks. there street tires. or drag radials i think.

i also plan on cutting out the rear to mount the fuel cell almost flush. just about 2 inches coming out. plus the flat metal would look much cleaner. plus i plan on cutting the floors out ( there slightly rusted) and replacing them. so most likely they'll be flat steel also. i dont know of anyone who makes floor pans...

plus, im not scraping out that gunk ever again. i did it once to my old FC....NEVER AGAIN!!!

this is my when im bored, budget, do what you can project. i havnt spent over 1000. including cost of car. not bad i say for the parts she has on her...
