i'll let you know when. all i need is a muffler right now. the exhaust un-corked is to much to make it without getting pulled over. maybe we can run eachother!!!

here a few shots of the exhaust sytem. i like to call it "the bastard"

headers are RB road race.

from headers to axle, is true dual all the way bay from a SCCA 2ng gen,

from axle back is a cat back for a 3rd gen from 5zigen.

you'll se i went under the axle for a more cleaner flowing exhaust. i tryed to keep it as strait as possible. that u-bend over the axle really annoys me. and theres still plenty of clearence for it not to scrape...

i had them in the garage, so i cut them up and made them all fit. lol...i did get to hear how it sounds yet. the battery was dead.

oh...and dont mind the overly long hanger i made. its cut now. i took these pics before i was done...

damn it! damn it all!!!

i tryed to start it up to see how the new exhaust sounds and.....

i have a small exhaust leak where i bolted the exhuast to the header (not tightened all the way yet) and theres fuel leaking from there. this makes me think that when i turn my fuel pump on (toggle switch operated) that fuel is just pouring in there...but i dont see it squirting in there, and its not leaking from the secondarys from what i can see...

could it be just leaking fuel into the motor (im new to carbs, not sure of how the fuel gets in there from idle) from where the fuel enters at idle???

oh and i put a tach in so now i can see what shes idleing at...sounded like 2k before the exhaust.

update...

i fixed it. there wasnt a problem with the fuel after all. but my timing was so off that none of the fuel was igniting and just shooting out the exhaust...

but...the Fuel pressure regulator is leaking now. ehhhh.....its always something.

oh...and i made and mounted a battery box in the passenger corner. i'll post up pics tomorrow. never seen it mounted there. i think it looks cool. and its just convienent not to run the wires to the rear...

Loose the fan, that is a big drag... and it will clean up the engine compartment (go electric).
