Different Oil Coolers

Are there any alternatives to the stock air-to-oil oil cooler? Im having fitment issues in my car and need a slightly smaller oil cooler. I guess if I get desprate I can use the water to oil oil cooler.

U can buy aftermarket oil coolers from just about any performance parts wharehouse type place. They're salty though.

the 79-82 12a one is the smallest of the bunch, unless you get a stock fd one.



the fd has more area, but its square shaped not a recatngle, maybe 10"x10"x1.5-2"

mount the oil cooler in front of the radiator.. I would def not use an aftermarket oil-cooler... the mazda coolers are awesome quality...
