I was thinking of doing a custom oil cooler job on my car but before I begin it, I had a few questions I need to ask. I've got what's considered the U.S. R1 Package(two oil coolers and cloth interior).

~Does anyone know the stock sizes of the oil coolers that were available to the 7's in the U.S.?

~Which year would be the best to pick if I were to use a stock oil cooler?

Any input appreciated guys!

It doesn't answer your question exactly, but Permacool makes some nice oil coolers.

Go with MOCAL, SETRAB, or a Tru-Cool

The MOCAL and SETRAB's are the best.

I don't think anything is as good as the OEM.

There's a webpage (sorry wish I could reference it) of a 13B in a plane and the guy tried several aftermarket coolers before switching to a OEM cooler. The difference in oil temp was quite large.
