so i recently changed the oil on my LSD. The manual i have says that it takes 1.3 Qts but upon reaching that mark, the fluid came nowhere near dripping out of the filler hole. In my auto class they say to fill until it starts coming out of the filler hole and thats how you know your full. Should i proceed to fill to that point or is what i have in there good enough? Input would be greatly appreciated.

My 1980 manual indicates 1.3 quarts. Stick your little finger in the fill hole. If you have fluid on your finger when you pull it out, you probably have enough.

I think the 1.3 is just to get it up to the pinion. Normally I just fill it till it flows out
