Actually this is a little but a new rotary shop (car yard) and a new rotary workshop (now were talking) has opened up near my house. One of my friends took a series 8 FD out for a test drive. almost shat himself when the turbo kicked in. (Hes got a v8, thought he'd be "used" to the power kick) Anyway, the guy that runs it, his son works there too. Apparently he's a cocky spoilt little ***** ~19-20, prolly had a rotary his whole life without ever having to pay for ****.

sux

I think the way we post, we will be using this guy a lot

some of the guys over here put a lot of work into there cars to be original. The good thing is that most of them are all show AND all go.

Drifter,We all have spent hours on our FB's its what makes them unique.Look at mine.I spent 1000's of hard labour and working full time to do what I do and the 82 will be highest priority soon too.I have no life in the winter do to the expensive nature these cars put out.Oh well at least its fun. What do you think of that R100?Nice FD engine and direct port NOS

Yeah, as the pic loaded down, the first thing I saw was the nos labels. awesome.

btw I get what your saying about them being original. Its just that you get so many cars that are so "show" that they never get driven. A few years back there used to be a mint old chevy or something that was doing the rounds and winning heaps of prizes, but people starting to get suss of the fact that nobody had ever heard it running. Turns out it didn't have any internal engine parts at all. That really pissed everyone off, cos it was all just fake. That guy couldn't show his face again after news got around.

I just reckon that if you have a car that you put effort into yourself and don't just do cheque-book racing, then thats cool. Ripping off other peoples ideas can be ok as long as your not riping off all their ideas. Nearly everythings already been done before anyway, prolly just on another car in another state in another country, whatever. (have you seen that southpark episode-simpsons did it already)

my 2c anyway.

A chevy with no internals.......lol What a embarassing way to leave the show scene.Oh well.Yeah.I know my cars mods have been done before but my spoiler is the only original mod I think I might have on my car.Oh well.I guess I'll make it original with 8000rpm shifts. And break in the new clutch to test it drifting

I want to get an aluminum drift spoiler. haven't seen one on a fb yet, but one of my friends reckons that the fb is one of the only cars they actually look good on. As opposed to the usual Honda/Nissan "ready for takeoff" style aluminium wings you see too often.
