What about having it sandblasted?

My LIM runners were pretty bad with buildup and what not...I had them steamcleaned and sandblasted, and they are now like NEW!

Probably could look in the phone book or do a good search for Sandblasting in your area.

The place I went to was recommended to me, and I was told they were the best around here.
