I have a chance to get a new Weber 48 IDA with a manifold. Does anyone on here have the 48 IDA setup and what would I need to hook this thing up? After reading some about the RB Holley setup, it looks like there is a lot of work involved. I want a new carb and it's really just a question between the Weber and a Holley from RB.

So what about all the vaccum lines and other hoses that go to the stock carb? Do they get plugged or would I need them to be run somewhere else? I might just end up going with the RB Holley. It's a couple hundred $$ cheaper. Is there much involved with installing a Holley?

Only us poor f*cks in emission law states worry about vacuum lines.

Here in Cali, you can't even change Carbs without the approval of the Kommunits

Kommitties For No High Performance Parts on Cars!

with both of those you need to ditch the vacuum lines and solenoids
