your running a header w/ stock injectors or the greddy? Ok, the greddy is something to consider. I will be getting a header so the new injectros should help out at he higher RPm them right?

well, the stock FI as has already been mentiones is pretty good. if you live oin a cold climate and your car is your daily id try to stay with the FI. but if what you want is to get the most out of the stock engine, then a carb is the way to go. iwhen i rebuild my engine i got rid of the FI. now i want to get another SE, cause theyre so nice in "stock" form...

the stock injectors are supposed to be 680cc low impedance, they seem to test more like 700+ though. the greddy ones are 720cc also low impedance, and basically they are about half the cost of the factory gsl-se injectors. if you're running stock, sock is fine, but i have a header on mine and it runs out of fuel at high rpms

If it is.That resistor I have is a oval one and it sits by the coil on the FC bay by the main relay.IS that the one your talking about?The other one is the fuel pump resistor.

he's right, mazdatrix states that the the 84-85 injector are a good upgrade. here pasted the info.
Note: For higher fuel flow in an 86-87 1/2 Turbo or Non-Turbo, the 84-85 injectors may be substituted in either the primary or secondary position (Not recommended in primary). The cutoff for 87 1/2 is June 1987 and splits at VIN #7601. The SE injectors will NOT work in engines after this VIN numbers |
