its called i hate my freaking rx7 due to nothing going right when i try to fix the thing.

yeah i had to get a new one myself. from the looks of it, it broke in the exact same place mine did. what i did is scrounged one in a junkyard from a ghettoed out rx that still had a picture of the assumed owner in it. then i JB welded all around the nasty weak part. its been workin pretty good for me. do you have to climb in from the pass side to open ure door?

wait a tic... in ure sig, it says something about a loose aftermarket steeringwheel. whats that about? i have a kragen APC wheel i stuck on mine and no matter how much i torque down the bolts it comes loose as paris hilton within a week. how you do it? locktite?

its still loose a little LOL, i forgot to change the sig to say, new steering wheel thanks to trammell.



i have no idea, its tight for turning, i can just pull it in and out, like its telescoping even though its not supposed to

It's pushing in and out because the plastic retainers holding the telescoping column from collapsing is either broken or loose. There is a mod you can do to fix that.. There are a bunch of posts on the rx7club.com forum about how to fix it. Good Luck.
