Hey all. I thought i would post how i killed my 12a and in what condition it was in afterwards just too see if any 1 else here had done the same or has done worse.

All started after we put my series 2 1st gen off the road for a gearbox and clutch replacement.

all went well on that front. On one of our test trips with it we came back with coolant every where and the temp guage well over 120 degrees C (I thought it would be Dead For Sure). There was a hole in the bottom of the radiator and it dumpped all coolant while being driven. The car still ran with a new radiator for 4 months without a hastle. Then took the car to our local race track for a track meet.the car went fine 2 runs on the track. The third time i went to go on car wouldnt start. had to be pushed wouldnt run smooth wouldnt idle. so at the end of the day limped it home. and left the car on blocks for 4 months. 3 weeks ago i sourced a new motor dropped the new one in and everything is sweet. but when i started to tear down the blown motor. I took the intake manifold off and guess what. Both oil and coolant came out of the secondary port on my 2nd rotor housing.

Sorry for the long post. just wondering if any 1 got any worse. ohh BTW No compression on my 2nd rotor either.
