well, i've been blessed and cursed by the dellorto demon. i have one that i got fairly cheap($150) and it has the wrong idle jets and holders. i've already been to gruntled and even talked with brad on the club forum but he hasn't got back to me as of yet. if someone could do the simple thing of removing the idle jet and holder from their carb, i would appreciate it if you would give the size drill bit that will slide into the jet holder (top- where the slot for the screwdriver is) and the actual idle jet( 80 idle jet preferably) i have the .8 holder and need the hole size on a .4 holder. mine is like a stick pin and i can't get a good transition no matter where i have my mixture screws. i would be everso thankful and indebted to those who help

 

Don't expect a smooth transistion from it.It's a big 2 barrel and is a bit on the boggish side till around 3500rpm.Is yours the 12a or 13b setup?

Then the carb is identical to mine then.I'm not sure when I'll have the time to take the top off of it.I work during the day.

 

I'm off tommorow.I'll let you know what drill bit sizes fit in it tommorow afternoon.
