Flaking Clear Coat

any suggestions on how to get rid of the clear coat on the factory SE rims?

I hear acetone works.I also heard a SOS pad works but not 100% sure on either.

Rock Miracle, its a paint stripper you can get in Home Depot, also Aircraft Paint Remover, I doubt acetone will work, it might only work for the **** thats really barely hanging on.



Bascially any automotive paint stripper. Then you will have to polish the rims or just look at them the way they are, a good wash in some acid after the paint is off will get them even looking, they will look like unpolished aluminum rims.

Powdercoating them after is another option that looks good too.
