Depends on how much power over stock your looking to get.I would just leave the stocker turbo and boost about 13 psi with some injectors, pump and a FMIC.That would be fun on a budget.I've spent this on my T04 setup (roughly in USD):

SS manifold:$170

HUGE T04E:$250

V-band kit:$60

Intercooler: $175

Piping:$150

Clamps and hoses: $70

HKS BOV: $80

TURBO XS MBC:$69

HKS standard wastegate:$80

Total for my kit:$1094

Cost of soon to be stomping new mustang's:Priceless

I would like to know how fast everyones 1st gen turbo is in the 1/4 mile. Weight of car also.

At the track I shifted at 6500rpm in to 2nd and 3rd gear. No traction above that rpm in first and second gear. Shifted at 7500rpm in to 4th gear. At the end of the 1/4 mile the rpm was 7300. And this was done on a gsl-se rear end and trans at low boost, unpinned S4 turboII motor.
