The copression is back in the engine, but the engine is still flooded. The flooding is a same problem compared to no compression.

How do I keep this problem from happening again?

What problem? The flooding or loss of compression?

Loss of compression, is this going to be a problem in the future?

It shouldn't be if its running.Just make sure to wind it out abit now and then. That should help it out.
