I have a 1980 rx7 non turbo. There's this thing that i was told was bad, possibly the ignition coil. What it is, it is a box about 4 inches big that has 6 wires coming of it, two wires plug into the ignition coils the other two are grounds that connect to the ignition coils and the other two connect to the wiring harness.. It's right in front of the drivers side strut mount. When I go to crank my car it, it just keeps cranking and won't start. I pulled one of the plugs out and i'm not gettiing any spark. Any suggestion???

That is the Ignitor. If you don't already have one, buy a haynes manual.

That, will give you instructions on which wires are supposed to have what

kind of voltage where.

Or maybe one of these guys can write up a diagram for converting to the

83-85 12a distributer and ignitors.
