Hello me and my son are working on a new project car that he picked up it's an 95 rx7 12a 5 speed and it has a jdm engine in it anyone have any info on these motors it's a 12a6 port looking to see what kind of mods there are for these engines any help would be appreciated having a hard time finding intake gaskets for it looking for a header right now
is it safe to assume that "95" is a typo and you guys have an '85?

as far as i know, it was only used in the HB Cosmos. the ports were tiny as the engine was designed around low-end power/torque. also, with the Nikki, i suppose there was no need to go with larger ports for that result. it was an 80s engine so it also had to deal with emissions with that period's rotary technology.
if you Google 12A 6 port, it should bring up a thread on the other board that still has active photos. you have the engine, so you may not need the photos, but i figured i'd mention it. just keep in mind none of them are of the ports themselves. the thread ended before he got around to a full disassembly, and the photos of the ports that someone else had furnished are no longer active.
