I reckon a 12a turbo would be mint. "1.2 Litre V8 beater"

I'm not usually a big sticker person(small amount of decals-ok), but when I originally wanted the 20B, I wsa gonna get the "2 Litre V8 Beater" sticker for the back. Guys with V8 over here have stickers like "Only milk and juice comes in 2 Litres".

Milk and juice still takes iron out to a scrap bin tho.https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

Yeah, they have "2.0 Litres of milk still gets sour" stickers to get them back or some **** like that anyway.

It would at least be different https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png
I was thinking of a custom tubular intake and reworking the ACV setup to something different but still smoggable. I also need to figure out some injector thoughts. This may sound crazy, but I'm thinking of a "Direct Injection" type of setup. I'll try to create something visual to explain later. I figure if the fuel is injected after the exhaust port is closed, then little or no unburned fuel goes out the ehhaust. Just a thought https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683561.gif |
I look forward to seeing that. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png
If you can solve the overlapping problem of the ports (like they did with the renesis), you'll save fuel and have better emmissions. |
Yeah it would be a retro renesis
|
a renisance renesis...
I was thinking that under boost, with direct injection, there would only be air transfering to the exhaust during overlap. A healthy dose of oxygen going to the catalyst would help in the further reduction of emissions. And, as an added bonus, I can keep the proper air fuel ratio without losing any fuel during overlap. Which equals more power with the same economy!! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/cool.png Another beautiful thing about the rotary is the area of injection isn't under the temperatures and pressures of combustion. So no need for special injectors. |
So you would just tap into the housing and make a custom rail or something? That would be good. Is that for the "tired" 12a?
|
I never thought of adding a rail to the stock intake. That would work if regulated good.Just means the carbs only function would be to cut off the air supply.
