Hi! Let me start off that i am new to this forum lol. I have been looking around but nothing online really gives me a good outlook of what may be wrong with my car.

About 5 to 6 months ago i bought a 1981 rx7, when i first got it, she ran and drove like a champ for about a week or 2. Then i started to run into problem, knocking fuel pump, not receiving fuel to my carb, and it would only run with starting fluid and gas in the carb... Now i am lucky if it get a few drops in the carb and it will run for maybe a minute or two.

What would be good ways to go with finishing the car so it runs good again?!?!

 

well, i just responded to your other thread and it's been months since this one, so sorry.

anyway, this sounds like a dirty fuel filter. change it.
