I only have a 110 lincoln. I run pure argon gas & .030'' aluminium 5% sillicon alloy. The maximum thickness I can weld is 1/8. For 1/8 I use the maximum heat setting and always start out with maximum wire speed and adjust down from there. Practice welding aluminum is a bitch.If you have a 220 mig you can get a spool gun witch makes things easier but once again quite expensive. GOOD LUCK!!!!!

Go for the T3/T4 hybrid.Just don't go past 25psi with it.It's pointless.A turbo is only so good till a point.If you have to go past 25psi you need a bigger turbo.Even at 20 psi it would still rip it up.

Sounds great. I only plan on running 8-10 psi normaly. I'm going to use one of those dial adjustable boost controlers and msd timing retard controls so when I come across a mitsu or a handa I can crak it up if needed. I only know what i've been reading but I hope it all works.
