I have researched some of the previous postings, but I am looking for information on installing a carburated 6 port inot an 81. I have orderd the manifold from racing beat, I have a carb for it, and have replaced the fuel pump already.

What transmission can I use? Do I need to use the tranny that came out of it, and if so do I need to put the 12A flywheel on the 13B. If I can usethe 13B tranny are there a set of mounts available to install it.

Is there anyone that makes a mount install kit using the stock oil pan?

How did you set up the CAS? Did you use a 13B and try to hook it up to the stock 12A electronics, or go with an aftermarket system?

I have also orderd a better radiator and hoses for it, and installed a better oil cooler.

Any help appreciated.

 

if you want to use the FB transmission, you need to put the 13b non turbo flywheel from your series engine on the engine, and then use a non turbo clutch
