I have a 12a with a mild street port and a 48IDA in my baja bug. I’m now having problem’s starting it cold. It seems like I’m cranking it over for a good minute before it even sound like it’s starting to fire. I can look at my tack as I’m turning it over and it doesn’t even look like its firing. Then after about a min you can hear the motor and see it on the tack that it’s starting to fire. Then finally it starts and runs great. I haven’t done anything to the motor, I’ve checked spark on the plugs and it looks good. I have a fully charged blue top optimum battery, can anyone give me some inside to what the problem could be?

Good idea, but my accelerator pump is working good and when overriding it by push the gas i see fuel going into the motor. So i don't think it's that easy! But thanks for the replay! Any other thoughts guys?

I do have a regulator but I haven't made any changes to it, and the problem just started. I'm seeing fuel shooting down into the carb, but just a Bitch to start. It almost seems like something possible with my tack/coils. If checked spark on both coils and all plugs and it looks good. It turns over for about 30-60sec before even sounding like its firing. Could it be a bad seal and when it finally starts pumping the oil into the rotor housings that helps it create the seal and starts firing? When I finally get it started it runs like a champ! **** it don't no, I sure hope that's not the problem.
